Temporary Staff Inductions

In an on-hire relationship, Talentpath and host employers both have a primary duty of care to ensure the health and safety of a temporary worker. All host employers must provide temporary staff with a workplace specific induction on their first day that covers the below:

  • the requirements of the role

  • task specific training

  • supervision requirements

  • introduction to key people including supervisors, co-workers, first aiders, fire wardens and health & safety representatives

  • expected workplace behaviours and standards

  • WHS policies and procedures

  • emergency response plans

  • site rules

  • site-specific hazards

  • safe work practices
