In an on-hire relationship, Talentpath and host employers both have a primary duty of care to ensure the health and safety of a temporary worker. All host employers must provide temporary staff with a workplace specific induction on their first day that covers the below:
the requirements of the role
task specific training
supervision requirements
introduction to key people including supervisors, co-workers, first aiders, fire wardens and health & safety representatives
expected workplace behaviours and standards
WHS policies and procedures
emergency response plans
site rules
site-specific hazards
safe work practices
